Bernadette is the star of this comic series. Please don’t tell her that, it will go to her head! Well, we should mention that her best friend Bob also plays a pretty large part, keeping Bernadette under control, at least a little.
But, more than the star, who is Bernadette?

- Spicy / Spunky – She has a little sass to her.
- Has a very vivid imagination.
- Roller coaster emotions – Up and down quickly, very high and low.
- Distracted easily.
- Hopeful, yet often still sees through to the reality of a situation.
- Positive, someone that we really want to be around.
- Pure – Sees things without filters (race, economic, etc.) that adults have let creep in and cloud their thinking.
- She sees the world the way we really want it to be. She is not afraid to act to make that a reality.
- Kind / loving / inclusive.
- Bernadette is hope.
- She values people over things.
- Likes: ice cream, capybaras.
- Not likes: Dark Rye bread (Story – The chocolate bread incident), cursive, mean people, people being left out.
